Set list for Tongues of Fire in Victoria, BC, as Seven Dollar Bill with Sean McGarragle. I ended up performing “Blonde Sonnet 09” before “10 Things I’ve Learned After 10 Years of Living on the West Coast” because, I realized during the show that it tied in nicely to the snow references in “Do Not Trust Canadians”, and it was time to flip the tone. The Tongues of Fire crowd remains the most eager group of poetry enthusiasts I’ve ever met. This was my fourth year in a row of featuring at the Solstice Café, and I will gladly keep coming back as long as they’ll have me.
